Ruth Rockenschaub

Ruth Rockenschaub (born July 16, 1953 in Innsbruck , Austria ) is a visual and performing artist who works as an actress , voice actress , musician and presenter .

Life

After attending a musical high school, she completed a degree in communication design with a focus on illustration and calligraphy at the Hamburg University of Applied Arts and four years of acting and music training in Austria and Germany. Ruth Rockenschaub lives as a coach, visual and performing artist near Hamburg. Her social commitment is the integration of refugees, a children's hospice, a children's cancer ward and the improvement of symptoms through music.

Musical activities

Rockenschaub works as a studio and live musician in Germany and Canada. She can be heard on records by Achim Reichel , Novalis , Vicky Leandros , Volker Lechtenbrink , Rex Gildo , Kiev Stingl , Heinz Johann Lang , Charlene Prickett , the Goombay Dance Band , Veronika Fischer and on various film and TV soundtracks. With the bands The Wunderbars , Comerford & Rockenschaub and as a solo artist, she completed numerous live appearances in theaters and at corporate events.

Rockenschaub works as a vocal coach in the areas of singing, arrangement and articulation.

Activity as a voice actress and actress

Rockenschaub works as a voice actress and also as a speaker in advertising. Rockenschaub realized tour posters for The Police , Dire Straits and XTC . She has her own cutlery collection and several jewelry lines and works as a stylist in the field of still life photography. She shows her paintings and calligraphy in exhibitions.

Rockenschaub was involved as Creative Consultant Content Management for HiFind SYSTEMS AG in the development of software for a web-based music search engine.

As a life coach and trainer, she advises executives in the areas of language, breathing, body language, resilience and rhetoric.

Rockenschaub is licensed as a lecturer for German as a foreign language and articulation and works in this area for various institutions.

For two years she was in charge of protocol and fundraising for the Hamburg Film Festival. She then headed fundraising for the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL HAMBURG.
