Stratford is a Canadian city in Queens County in the province of Prince Edward Island . The city is 3 km west of the provincial capital Charlottetown .
history
The place was settled around 1750 and received city rights on April 1, 1995. Stratford is also the third largest city in Prince Edward Island after Charlottetown and Summerside .
