Streichental is a hamlet on the boundary of the Niederstetten district of Rinderfeld in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

The living space is about one kilometer northeast of Rinderfeld. The district is drained by the Streichentaler Bach , which begins on the northern edge of the village.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1343 as Strichental . The history of the hamlet is comparable to the history of Rinderfeld .

The living space came to the city of Niederstetten on February 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent municipality of Rinderfeld.
