Orchard route in the Nassauer Land
The orchard route in Nassauer Land is a network of hiking and cycling trails in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate .
Around 600 kilometers of trails are signposted in the area of the state capital Wiesbaden , the Rheingau-Taunus district , the Limburg-Weilburg district and the Rhein-Lahn district between the Rhine and Lahn . The maintenance and further development of the route is carried out by non-profit associations, so-called orchards. In addition, the orchard groups promote topic-related, permanent activities and stations related to the culture of orchards , the preservation of the cultural landscape and the marketing of regional products. A total of seven published cycling and hiking maps can be obtained from the orchards.

In addition to numerous themed panels along the route, a variety garden with 127 varieties near Wiesbaden-Medenbach and the wedding meadow near Niedernhausen-Oberseelbach should be highlighted.
The orchard circles organize throughout the year numerous events such as pruning trees courses , wine seminars , apple wine tastings , tours, project weeks for schools and variety shows .
