The Stroblalm is an inn on the Högl in the area of ​​the municipality of Anger in Berchtesgadener Land.

The inn as well as the court chapel and the former smithy are under monument protection and are entered in the Bavarian monument list under the number D-1-72-112-64 .

Building description

Today's inn Stroblalm is a stately two-story building with cantilevered hipped roof , lunettes knee stock and jambs from sandstone . The building is marked with the year 1843, but is essentially older.

The former forge of the quarry, which was also the workshop of the grinding and whetstone maker from Oberhögl, is a ground floor quarry stone building with a protruding flat saddle roof . The forge is marked on the chimney with the year 1674, on the door frame with the year 1792.

The court chapel, the so-called Stroblkapelle , is a plastered, semicircular closed saddle roof building with shingle roofing and sandstone walls and was built in the second half of the 19th century. The building and equipment are under monument protection .
