history

In 1215 the Bishop of Meissen took the monastery of Buch and its possessions under his protection. a. the village of Ztrokkan . In 1250 Siegfried von Mügeln transferred 7½ Hufen in Ztrokan to the newly founded nunnery Sornzig . It can therefore be assumed that the ownership structure in 1215 in the village was not known to everyone. In 1275, Burgrave Albero von Leisnig known that he had tried the Sornzig monastery in the entire village of Strokan . After seeing the privileges of the monastery and after the testimony of respected men, he had realized that the village mentioned did not belong to his domain. He forbade his judges to exercise jurisdiction. In 1332 Burgrave Albero IV von Leisnig sold all rights, probably mainly court rights, which he had in Strocken, to Bishop Withego von Meißen in order to end the dispute with Abbot Heidenreich von Buch and Provost Heinrich von Sornzig.

In 1485, when Leipzig was divided , the border passed through the middle of the village, as Sornzig Monastery was in the Albertine part, but Buch monastery in the Ernestine part.

In 1548, the Buch zu Strocken monastery inheritance book names “12 possessed men, 7 of which are lendable to the Buch monastery, the others are leasable and interestable to the Sornzig monastery” with 15 hooves. The registry of the Sornzig monastery (later the Meißen school authority) mentions “5 [corrected 6] men, including 2½ hookers, are leasable and interest-payable to the Sornzig monastery. About 9 men are still living in this village, who are responsible for the Leisnig office with full authority, including consequences and taxes “with 7½ hooves. The higher court and the inheritance court belonged to both monastery offices for their property.

The place was partly parish after Börtewitz and Sornzig, a joy at the time of the Reformation.
