The Strolch is a passenger ferry operated by Weisbarth Fahrgastschiff GmbH (www.eventschiff-anja.de). It connects Cologne's old town on the left and right banks of the Rhine in Cologne-Deutz at Rhine kilometer 688.7. The ferry is currently only in operation on weekends and public holidays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

During the week it only runs on advance booking for special trips (as of 2019).

construction

The rascal has a length of 20.9 meters and a width of 4.9 meters. Up to 150 people can be taken on board. It was built in 1958 by the Schmidt shipyard in Oberwinter , a district of the city of Remagen .
