Stuart N. Lake

Stuart N. Lake (born September 23, 1889 in Rome , New York ; † January 27, 1964 in San Diego , California ) was an American author who mainly dealt with the so-called " Wild West ".

His best-known work is the biography Frontier Marshal about Wyatt Earp , published in 1931 , which largely established the legend about this gunslinger . The biography is based on stories of the 80-year-old Earp, (apparently Unaudited) presented the Lake in public appeal form and thus fundamentally helped, the valid today cliché from the Wild West to further substantiate the already diverse dime novels , especially those of Ned Buntline over Buffalo Bill was established in the 1870s.
