Stuart Rendell

Stuart Rendell (born June 30, 1972 in Canberra ) is a former Australian hammer thrower .

At the World Athletics Championships in Athens in 1997 , he was eliminated from the qualification. In 1998 he won the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur .

At the 1999 World Cup in Seville, the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and the 2001 World Cup in Edmonton, he did not get past the first round. In 2002 he was fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester , 2003 tenth at the World Cup in Paris / Saint-Denis . At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he failed in the preliminary round.

In 2006 in Melbourne he achieved his second victory at the Commonwealth Games.

From 1997 to 2006 he was Australian champion ten times in a row. On July 6, 2002 he set the current Oceania record in Varaždin with 79.29 m.
