Studio Biederer
The Studio Biederer was a French photo studio at the time of the Art Deco of the brothers Jacques Biederer (born 1887; died about 1942) and Charles Biederer (born 1892; died about 1942) from Moravská Ostrava , Czech Republic .
history
The brothers' father was Maurice Moritz Biederer, their mother was Augustine Gusti Biederer. They had the brothers Emanuel and Hugo and their sister Rosa Biederer.
Jacques came to Paris in 1908. Charles followed him in 1913 to help him work as a photographer. The studio was located at 33 boulevard du Temple, Paris . Erotic recordings were published by Editions Ostra , which also flirted with homoeroticism and fetishism . Fetish films have also been preserved, including dressage au fouet .
Some photos contain the signature JB, B, Ostra or a question mark in a triangle. Other recordings can be assigned based on style, furniture or model. Charles Guyette , John Willie and Irving Klaw , among others , are said to have orientated themselves on Jacques Biederer's photos .
The Jewish brothers were arrested during the German occupation of France . Charles was awarded the Transport 4 of 25 June 1942 by collecting camp Pithiviers in the Birkenau extermination camp deported. Jacques was deported from Pithiviers to Birkenau with Transport 6 on July 17, 1942.
