Styrsö class

The Styrsö-class is a class of anti-mine vehicles of the Swedish Navy .

This class of ships is equipped for both types of clearing ( searching for and clearing ) sea ​​mines . She is classified as a mine sweeper as well as a mine hunter. The ships of this class are also used for guarding purposes.

  • HMS Sturkö (M14)

HMS stands for Hans / Hennes Majestäts Skepp (His / Her Majesty's Ship). All four ships belong to the 42nd Mining Division based on Muskö .
