Su Olosti

The nuragic fountain of Su Olosti ( Italian called fontana nuragica Su Olosti ) is located about three kilometers south of Orgosolo in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia .

The architecture of the spring by Su Olosti indicates that it is not a water cult place, as is the case with many other nuragic fountains and springs in Sardinia ( Li Paladini , Mitza Pidighi ), but an ordinary well that supplied the Bronze Age communities with water . There is still water flowing from the spring.
