Subhercyn
Under Subherzyn is - especially in the geology of northern - Harzvorland understood. Geologically it is viewed as a subhercyne depression and is a subsidence structure in the western part of the Saxon-Thuringian plaice, which is limited by structural zones and faults . It forms a floe mosaic , the partial floes of which were adjusted against each other during the Cimmerian and Alpid mountain formation , and is spread to the north and northeast through the Flechtingen-Roßlauer floe , to the east through the Wittenberger floe, to the south-east through the Halle-Hettstedter mountain bridge and to the south through the Resin clod limited.
