Sudirman Cup 2017
The Sudirman Cup 2017 , the world championship for mixed teams in badminton , is scheduled for spring 2017 in Gold Coast . Australia would host the cup for the first time. It will be the 15th edition of the Sudirman Cup.
Award of the event
The event was awarded on November 13, 2014 in Lima . The 2017 Badminton World Championship (after Glasgow ) was also awarded at the same event . Glasgow had also applied to host the 2017 Sudirman Cup. The venue for the cup will be the still-to-be-built Carrara Sport and Leisure Center .
