Sudoeste Festival
The TMN Sudoeste is a five-day open-air festival in the southwest of Portugal , near Zambujeira do Mar . It is also called Sudoeste for short and has been taking place since 1996, generally in the first week of August.
Stages and styles of music
Bands and live acts appear simultaneously on three stages:
- Main stage (Palco TMN): Here, u. a. 2005 Fatboy Slim and 2009 Lily Allen .
- Second stage (Planeta Sudoeste): The program of the second stage is more alternative. a. Breakestra and Afrika Bambaataa can be seen.
- Third stage (Palco Positive Vibes): The third stage is dedicated to reggae and its related varieties. So in 2006 u. a. Max Romeo , Jimmy Cliff , Pow Pow Movement , Israel Vibration , Anthony B. and Prince Wadada.
There is also an open-air disco ("Groovebox"). a. Henrik Schwarz and Dixon acted as DJs.
