The Suez Canal University ( Arabic جامعة قناة السويس) is a state Egyptian university for the areas on the Suez Canal , such as Bur Saʿid , Al-Ismaʿiliyya and As-Suwais as well as Shimal Sina . The seat is in Ismailia .

The 28 faculties with around 50,000 students are distributed over the various locations, their center is in the north of the city of Ismailia . In addition to the university buildings and student dormitories, the extensive complex also has a park and a regional history museum that provides information on the construction of the Suez Canal.
