The group with the self-designation " European center for an interspiritual encounter " receives its growing national and international importance because it is understood as a representative for Sufism in particular and liberal Islam in general and is committed to interreligious dialogue . In this context, his scholars are invited by various institutions and communities, such as the funeral of Paul Spiegel in 2006 in Berlin, the World Alliance of Religions Summit 2014 in South Korea, the World Peace Forum 2015 in Romania, or the peace prayer on the occasion of the Carnival of Cultures 2015 in Berlin.

The centers' events are free of charge. It is emphasized that access is for all people.
