Suicide Girls Must Die! is an American film released in 2010 . The horror film describes the events that arise during the production of an erotic calendar for the website SuicideGirls . Since the calendar recordings were real and the models were not privy to the plot, the producers describe the film as the first reality horror film.

action

To make calendar recordings, the producers move with the models and large amounts of alcohol to a secluded property in Maine and have various arguments with the strange locals. Little by little, individual models disappear without explanation, while the photo shoot continues anyway. It remains unclear which scenes are completely set and which the models actually do not know what is going on around them. According to the genre, it comes to a completely staged surprising ending: Nothing happened to any of the women, but gradually disappeared into the woods to annoy their fellow models. Stylistically, the film, shot with handheld cameras, is based on the Blair Witch Project .

Reviews

The film critics completely ignored the film, the ratings on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes are very poor. Only specialized critics for horror films find the film sometimes decent and technically solid, but also criticize the monotony, predictability, cliché, lack of acting talent and the fact that the alleged murders are not shown. The individual genres such as horror film, documentary and reality TV would not fit together, the characters were unsympathetic and the plot practically non-existent.

production

Directed by Sawa Suicide , the film was produced by SuicideGirls owner Missy Suicide .
