Suldan Hassan (born April 1, 1998 ) is a Swedish athlete who specializes in long-distance running.

Athletic career and life

Suldan Hassan gained his first international experience in 2015 when he finished tenth in the 3000 meter run at the Youth World Championships in Cali in 8: 34.42 minutes . In the following year he finished 15th in the 5000 meter run at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz in 14: 15.22 minutes and in 2017 at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in 14: 51.76 minutes he was fourth over this distance . In 2019 he took part in the 3000 meter European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round with a time of 8:05:08. He then finished fifth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 14: 19.96 minutes and in December he came eleventh in the U23 class at the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon after 24:58 minutes.

In 2019 Hassan became the Swedish champion in the 500-meter run.
