Sulejman Demollari (born May 15, 1964 in Tirana ) also known under the name Sul Demollari is a former Albanian football player and current national coach of the Albanian U-15 team. He played 45 games for the Albanian national soccer team , but was never able to qualify for a major tournament.
Career
Demollari was born in the Albanian capital Tirana and completed his school days there, which he successfully completed. He was also a member of the KF Vojo Kushi football association , where his talent was discovered early on, so that he was quickly appointed to the youth team of Dinamo Tirana . At the age of only 15 he played for the senior team of Tiranas for the first time, where he was able to prove his skills alongside other Albanian football legends such as Ilir Përnaska , Shyqyri Ballgjini and Muhedin Targaj .
When he had established himself there as a leading player through his strong performances, Demollari was transferred to Dinamo Bucharest in Romania in the summer of 1991 , where he played 100 games over the course of four years and scored 36 goals. As one of very few foreigners, he managed to achieve a regular place in one of the top Romanian clubs. With his dribbling sessions, which are well worth seeing, he also aroused interest in other countries and then moved to Panionios Athens in Greece in 1996 .
There he was plagued by numerous injuries, so that he only played 14 games in the two years of his career there. Disappointed to have lost his place in the national team, he switched to the Hungarian first division club Győri ETO FC to end his career there. Demollari came here only to sporadic missions, so that in 1997 he decided to give up playing football and aim for a coaching career.
Demollari has been the coach of the Albanian U-15 national team since 2009.
