Sultan Ibrahim Mirza

Sultan Ibrahim Mirza (also: Solṭān Ebrāhīm Mīrzā, Abu'l Fat'h Sultan Ibrahim Mirza, Persian ابوالفتح سلطان ابراهیم میرزا, DMG Sulṭān Ibrāhīm Mīrzā ; * April 1540 ; † February 23, 1577 ) was a Safavid prince and nephew of Shah Tahmasp I. He was best known as a sponsor and client of masterpieces of Persian miniature painting. Other artists were also highly regarded at his court, for example the poet Ḥusain Ṯanāʾī Mašhadī .
