Summerleaze footbridge
The Summerleaze Footbridge (also Summerleaze Bridge or Summerleaze Footbridge ) is a wooden bridge over the English River Thames . The bridge connects the towns of Dorney in Buckinghamshire and Bray in Berkshire . Downstream is the Boveney Lock .
The bridge was originally built in connection with the construction of Dorney Lake for a belt conveyor system for the transport of ballast and was built on October 29, 1996 by Richard Simmonds of Summerleaze Ltd. opened from Maidenhead as a pedestrian bridge.
