Sun Is Up is a dance-pop - song of the Romanian singer Inna and the first single of her album I Am the Club Rocker . In Germany the song made it to 26th place. In Switzerland it came to 3rd place.
history
The piece was produced by the Romanian producer trio Play & Win . On June 28, 2010, two new songs were announced as "Hit Summer Pack" on Inna's website, Sun Is Up and Un Momento (with Juan Magán ). The next day the piece was presented on Kiss FM . It won the Eurodanceweb Award as the best dance piece of 2010.
reception
Paul Lester of The Guardian wrote that the piece encourages people to raise their hands to the sky and is reminiscent of Boys (Summertime Love) by Sabrina .
Single cover
On the single cover you can see Inna in the water, her shoulders and her head look out. Another cover variant shows a blue cover with a picture of Inna bathing within the four letters INNA, otherwise the photo fades behind the blue color.
