In November 2014 she was listed for the first time in the world rankings and took 68th place there. In the next few years, however, she was only able to perform internationally so that she was often not represented in the world rankings.

Their first adult tournament was the Japan Open in June 2017, in which they beat Feng Tianwei (No. 4 in the world rankings), Shan Xiaona (No. 18) and Chen Meng (No. 5) at the age of 16, among others so that gold could win. She also won gold in doubles with Chen Xingtong . At the China Open in the same month, she defeated Feng Tianwei and Liu Shiwen (No. 2), among others , before losing in the final to reigning world champion Ding Ning . In July she was ranked 10th in the world after she had been 82nd in January 2017, and won gold in singles, doubles and mixed at the Asian Youth Championships. In singles, doubles and with the team she was able to win the youth world championship in November. Due to the introduction of the new world ranking calculation , it fell back from 7th to 52nd place in January 2018. In 2019 she was able to take part in the World Cup for the first time , where she won gold in doubles with Wang Manyu - against whom she was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In the same year she became Asian champion and won the Japan , Australian and German Open , so that she moved up to second place in the world rankings in December and qualified for the Grand Finals in singles and doubles . At the German Open in 2020, she made it to the semi-finals in doubles.
