Superintendentur is the name of a listed administrative building in the city of Merseburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located at Domstrasse 6 in a prominent corner position at the confluence of Schulstrasse and Domstrasse.

Architecture and history

The villa-like , plastered building that characterizes the street scene was erected in 1902. It also served as a residential building and superintendent and is largely designed in the neo-renaissance style. The building has a stone portal and a structure made of stone. Even today (as of 2017) the building is used by the church and is the seat of the Merseburg parish of the Evangelical Church of Central Germany .

In the local register of monuments , the administration building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 20149 .
