Eggmannsried is part of the municipality of Bad Wurzach in the Ravensburg district in Baden-Württemberg .
The place is northwest of the town center of Bad Wurzach on the B 465 . The 11.6 ha large nature reserve Mauchenmühle is northwest.
The museum was founded in 1985 by local historian Jürgen Hohl (* 1944).
Attractions
- The parish church of St. James was the Reichsabt Didacus Ströbele build (1686-1748). The frescoes for the church were created in 1749 by Franz Xaver Forchner (1717–1751). Today's organ was installed by Reiser Orgelbau in 1938 .
- Jakob Emele (1707–1780), a South German Baroque master builder , built the rectory .
