Unterschwarzach is a district of Bad Wurzach in the Ravensburg district .
history
The early existence of the place can be proven in documents from the St. Gallen monastery and later in Rot an der Rot . In 1446 the place came under the influence of the dominion Waldburg-Wolfegg-Waldsee . After secularization , Unterschwarzach was an independent place in the former Oberamt Waldsee , from 1938 it belonged to the Oberamt Biberach until it became a town of Bad Wurzach in 1975 .
On January 1, 1975, Unterschwarzach was incorporated into Bad Wurzach.
societies
There is a music association and a fool's guild in the village . The local blood rider group participates in the annual blood trip to Weingarten .
Buildings
There is a primary school with a gymnasium and festival hall in the village . The parish church of St. Gallus was built at the end of the 13th century and combines different architectural styles. The church community belongs to the deanery Allgäu-Oberschwaben, in the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart .
