Super alloy
Supermalloy is a nickel alloy made from 79% nickel , 16% iron and 5% molybdenum .
Electromagnetic properties
The specific resistance of Supermalloy is 600 nΩ · m. Supermalloy is a soft magnetic material for magnetic cores .
It has a high permeability number , which is between 100,000 and 300,000 - other sources speak of 10 5 -10 6 - and a low coercive field strength , so it does not keep the state of magnetism for long.
commitment
Supermalloy is used in the production of components for radio technology , telephony and telemechanical instruments. Due to its high permeability, it is an important material for shielding (shielding material).
