The Surge Rocks (of English surge , Wave, Surf, wave ' ) are a group of five cliff rocks in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located 160 m southwest of Eichorst Island and 1 km south-southeast of Bonaparte Point on Anvers Island .
In 1972, a team at the Palmer Station gave the rocks a descriptive name.
