The Survey Isthmus ( English for surveying land bridge ) is a narrow and up to 39 m high isthmus at the northwestern end of South Georgia . It separates the Elsehul in the north from Undine Harbor to the south .
The name of this land bridge for the first time on a nautical chart of the British Admiralty to find from 1931, which the survey work of the British Discovery Investigations based 1926 to 1930.
