Susan Deborah Long (born April 4, 1960 in Glen Ridge , New Jersey ) is a former American cross-country skier .

Long competed for the United States in cross-country skiing between 1983 and 1986. In 1983 she took part in the Winter Universiade in Sofia , Bulgaria . In the competitions over 5 and 10 kilometers, she reached the 11th and 10th places. A year later, she qualified for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . In the races over 5, 10 and 20 kilometers, she finished in 38th, 32nd and 28th. In the relay competition over four times 5 kilometers, Long was seventh with her teammates Patricia Ross , Judy Rabinowitz and Lynn Spencer-Galanes .

Long graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in environmental economics in 1982 .
