Susanna Margarethe of Anhalt-Dessau
Susanna Margarethe von Anhalt-Dessau (* August 25, 1610 - † October 3, 1663 , in Babenhausen ) was a daughter of Prince Johann Georg I of Anhalt-Dessau (* 1567 - † 1618) and the Countess Palatine Dorothea von Pfalz-Simmern .
She was first betrothed to Count Johann Ernst von Hanau-Münzenberg-Schwarzenfels (* 1613; † 1642), the last male heir from the family of the Counts of Hanau-Münzenberg, in 1641, who died before the wedding.
Then she married on February 16, 1651 Count Johann Philipp von Hanau-Lichtenberg (* 1626; † 1669), a younger brother of the now reigning Count of Hanau, Friedrich Casimir (* 1623; † 1685), who in turn was with Susanna's sister Margarethe, Sibylle Christine von Anhalt-Dessau (* 1603, † 1686), was married. Both marriages remained childless.
