Susanna Mewe

Susanna Mewe (* 1981 in Greven ) is a German writer and screenwriter .

Life

Susanna Mewe studied English, German and theater studies in Hamburg and Berlin as well as literary writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . In 2003 she took part in the authors' workshop of the Vienna Burgtheater and in 2004 in the scenic workshop of the Berliner Festspiele. In 2006, her play Leas Tag , which was published by the Kurt Desch publishing house , was performed at the Ruhr Festival Recklinghausen and at the Mainz State Theater . From 2006 to 2008 she completed a master's degree in film at the Hamburg Media School . In 2012, the first performance of the play Handgriff der Evakuierung took place in Chemnitz .

Susanna Mewe lives and works as a freelance writer in Berlin. She writes plays, scripts, prose and translates from English.
