Susanne Biemer

Susanne Biemer (born June 30, 1978 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Biemer, the daughter of basketball official Klaus-Rüdiger Biemer , was a leading player on TV Neunkirchen in the 2nd Bundesliga, and in 2002 the winger moved to the first division club Rentrop Bonn . In 2005 she left Bonn for TV Bensberg . In Neunkirchen, Bonn and Bensberg she played as a trainer under her brother Alexander . In 2006/07 she played at USC Freiburg . Biemer went abroad and ran in the 2007/08 season only for the Italian second division club Ivrea, before moving to the Icelandic club Keflavík in the course of the game year. With Keflavík she won the Icelandic championship title and then joined the Bundesliga club SV Halle during the summer break of 2008 . After a year in Halle, Biemer returned to the Rhineland in 2009 and from then on played for SV Opladen in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the summer of 2004, Biemer, who was nicknamed "Sunny" in basketball circles, played five international A matches for Germany. In 2005 she took part with the German national student team at the Universiade in Izmir , Turkey . Biemer completed a sports degree and wrote her diploma thesis on the subject of “performance diagnostics in basketball with female national players; An analysis of the athletic performance values ​​and their development ”.
