Susanne Falk

Susanne Swantje Falk (born September 29, 1976 in Kappeln ) is a German writer .

Life

Susanne Falk was born in 1976 in Kappeln, Schleswig-Holstein, the youngest of four children. In 1996 she graduated from the Kurt Tucholsky School in Flensburg . She studied German at the Universities of Rostock and Vienna and graduated in 2002 with a thesis on the " Aryanization " of a Viennese newspaper publisher. In 2008 she did her doctorate at the University of Vienna on the writer and journalist Hans Habe . From 1998 to 1999 she lived in Rome and since 1999 in Vienna.

Her novels were published by Rowohlt Verlag and Picus Verlag in Vienna . In addition to novels and short prose, she also publishes plays for Thomas Sessler Verlag .

Susanne Falk is married, has two children and lives in Vienna. Like Jörg Hilbert and the actors Horst and Christopher Buchholz , she is a direct descendant of the sculptor Ernst Rietschel .
