Susanne Jung

Susanne Jung (born May 17, 1963 in Meiningen ) is a former German javelin thrower who competed for the GDR .

She started with the BSG activist Unterbreizbach and started as a competitive athlete for the SC Turbine Erfurt .

In 1987 she won the silver medal at the Universiade and was fifth at the World Athletics Championships in Rome . At the GDR championships she was second in 1987 (with her personal best of 69.60 m) and third in 1990.
