Susanne Möbuß

Susanne Möbuß (born January 10, 1963 in Hanover ) is a German philosopher .

Life

Susanne Möbuß studied philosophy and history at the University of Hanover . In 1990 she received her doctorate and in 1996 she completed her habilitation there. From 1996 she worked as a research assistant at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg . Since 2001 she has been working there as an adjunct professor.

Research priorities

Susanne Möbuß's main research interests include the history of philosophy , in particular Jewish philosophy of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance , French contemporary philosophy and existential philosophy . She has worked significantly on Plotinus , Margareta Porete , Levi ben Gershon and Martin Heidegger .
