Susanne Schicker

Susanne Schicker (born September 15, 1963 in Vienna as Susanne Landsteiner ) is an AHS pedagogue and, after working as a speaker in this Viennese school authority, was Kurt Scholz's successor from April 2001 to December 2015 as President of the City School Council for Vienna .

Life

Susanne Brandsteidl studied German language and literature and history at the University of Vienna and received her doctorate. She was AHS teacher, head of the day school home at GRG21 Vienna and a school lecturer at the Jugend & Volk publishing house .

In 2001 she became the executive president of the Vienna City School Board. After the state and municipal council elections in Vienna in 2015 , Jürgen Czernohorszky Brandsteidl succeeded him in December 2015 in the role of city school council president. Brandsteidl moved to the Ministry of Education as a ministerial advisor.

Since 2018 she has been heading and coordinating the Vienna Beethoven 2020 Festival . Until 2019 she was Chair of the University Council of the Music and Art Private University of the City of Vienna . She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of SK Rapid Wien .

Susanne Schicker is married to the former city councilor Rudolf Schicker . The wedding took place between 2016 and 2019.
