Susanne Schneider (politician)
Susanne Schneider (born March 14, 1967 in Bretten ) is a German politician of the FDP . She has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament since the state elections in 2012 . Schneider is spokeswoman for the FDP parliamentary group for health and care, as well as spokeswoman for gender equality and women.

After graduating from school, Schneider began training as a nurse , which she completed with the state examination in 1988 . She worked in this profession, trained to become a ward manager, and held this position for several years until she began training as a pharmaceutical representative , which she successfully completed. Schneider worked as a pharmaceutical representative until her children were born.
politics
She is a member of the FDP state board of North Rhine-Westphalia, deputy district chairwoman of the FDP Westphalia South and chairwoman of the FDP in the Unna district . She was the local chairman of the FDP Schwerte . In the state elections in 2010 , 2012 and 2017 , she ran as a direct candidate in the Unna I state constituency , receiving 4.1%, 4.3% and 9.0% of the first votes. In the state elections in 2010, she ran at number 23 on the state list; in the state elections in 2012 and 2017, she moved into the state parliament via list position 18 and 14, respectively. From 2011 to 2012 she was a member of the city council of Schwerte and deputy chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group.
Susanne Schneider is currently a member of the state committee for labor, health and social affairs and the state committee for gender equality and women. She also acts as deputy chairperson of the Committee on Equality and Women. Schneider is also a member of the inquiry commission "Subsidiarity and Participation. To strengthen (parliamentary) democracy in the federal system from a North Rhine-Westphalian perspective".
Private
Schneider lives in Schwerte and has three children.
