Suse Martin

Suse Martin (born May 9, 1949 ) is a German lawyer and former presiding judge at the Federal Fiscal Court .

Life

The doctor of law began her professional career in 1976 in the service of the higher financial administration of the state of Baden-Württemberg . In 1981 she moved to the local finance court as a judge . She belonged to this court, interrupted by a four-year secondment as a research assistant at the Federal Fiscal Court, until she was appointed judge at the Federal Fiscal Court in 1991. In 2008 she was appointed presiding judge at the Federal Fiscal Court and took over the chairmanship of the fifth senate, which is responsible for sales tax and child benefit .

From 2002 to 2006 Suse Martin was a member of the Presidential Council of the Federal Fiscal Court. She retired at the end of August 2013.
