Susi Aeberhard

Susi Aeberhard (* before 1964) is a Swiss cabaret artist , Bernese chansonnière or radio play interpreter .

From 1964 to 1965 Aeberhard worked with the Bern Troubadours and was a member of the Schifertafele cabaret at the Theater am Zytglogge . At the same time she interpreted the lyrics of Rosmarie Driver . With Urs Kräuchi and Hugo Ramseyer , she published records by Bernese Chansons with the title I bi in love . In 1974 she founded the Berner Bankelsänger with Peter Hunziker and Artur Gloor , who performed various programs in many small theaters in Switzerland until 1980, as well as on the radio program “ AchtungStufe ”.

The radio play version of Max Frisch's Herr Biedermann und die Brandstifter is the most famous work in which Aeberhard participated. Aeberhard's Bern German version of Elfriede Jelineks when the sun sinks “is considered a highlight in local radio play”.
