The Susitna Glacier is a 36 km long valley glacier in the Alaska Range in Alaska (USA).

geography

The glacier's nutrient zone is on the southern flank of Mount Hayes . The glacier initially flows in a south-westerly, later in a westerly and finally south-westerly direction again. He takes on several tribute glaciers. Its catchment area extends from Mount Balchen in the west to Moby Dick in the east. The lower end of the glacier lies at an altitude of about 850  m and forms the origin of the Susitna River . The width of the glacier in the lower area is 3.4 km.
