Susse Wold

Lise "Susse" Wold (born November 17, 1938 in Frederiksberg , Denmark ) is a Danish actress .

Life

Susse Wold is the daughter of Knud Wold and the actress Marguerite Viby . From 1958 to 1960 she studied acting at the private theater elevskole . From 1960 to 1964 she was permanently engaged at Det Ny Teater and finally played from 1964 as a permanent member of the Det Kongelige Teater . During the 1960s and 1970s, Wold performed regularly in the theater and has appeared in films such as Three Girls in Paris and 2 × 2 in the Four-Poster Bed . Since the beginning of the 1990s she was only seen sporadically in a few films, as she concentrated more on her theater career.

She received a lot of attention in 2012 with her portrayal of Grethe in the Oscar-nominated drama The Hunt . At the Bodilverleihung in 2014 she was named Best Supporting Actress; just like she was also awarded for Best Supporting Actress at the Robert Awards 2014 . In 2010 she was awarded the Modersmål Prize . After she was awarded the Dannebrogden in 1978 , she has been a first class knight since 1996.

Wold was with the actor for a long time Erik Mørk dating . They have a son, the writer and journalist Christian Mørk . She has been married to the actor Bent Mejding since 1983 .
