Suzanne Mansion

Suzanne Mansion (born July 30, 1916 in Liège , † August 28, 1981 in Woluwé ) was a Belgian historian of philosophy .

Suzanne Mansion is the granddaughter of Paul Mansion , the daughter of Joseph Mansion and the niece of Augustin Mansion .

After receiving her doctorate in philosophy in 1941, she became maître agrégé at the Institut supérieur de philosophie (École Saint-Thomas d'Aquin) (1946) in 1946, the first woman in this rank. From 1968 on she was a professor at the Université Catholique de Louvain and gave numerous lectures in the USA, Canada and Africa.
