The Svartnupen ( Norwegian for Black Peak is) a mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In short Mountains of the Orvin Mountains he stands on the south side of the Håkonbandet on.
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the mountain, mapped it using aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
