FK Sveikata Kybartai is the oldest football club in Lithuania . He is in town Kybartai of vilkaviškis district municipality in the district of Marijampolė . The club plays in the II lyga .

history

After the First World War in 1918 they wanted to set up a soccer team. The first team was "Banga". In 1919 the German Freitach found a suitable meadow on the railway line and organized the “Sveikata” soccer team, in which Lithuanians , Russians , Germans and Jews played. The club colors and flag were blue and red; one played against teams from East Prussia , Klaipėda , Kaunas and Vilkaviškis . The club has had a football stadium since 1930, where it still plays today. In Soviet Lithuania Sveikata played in the "Nemunas" championship of the A-class and took 3rd place in 1978, 1st place in 1980 and 1984.
