Sven Axbom (born October 15, 1926 in Kimstad near Norrköping , † April 8, 2006 ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Axbom played 167 times for IFK Norrköping in Allsvenskan . The defender won several Swedish championships with the club in the 1950s and 1960s.

Axbom was a Swedish national player 31 times between 1955 and 1960 . At the 1958 World Cup , he played all six games for the national selection. Between 1955 and 1957 he also played three times for the Swedish national B team.
