Sven Bensmann

Sven Bensmann (born December 18, 1992 in Osnabrück ) is a German musician and comedian . He is the singer of the indie punk band Hi! Spencer and performs solo as a comedian. Sven Bensmann has been a sidekick of the comedy show NightWash since April 2017 .

Live and act

Bensmann grew up in Hagen in the Teutoburg Forest near Osnabrück and, after graduating from high school, completed a voluntary ecological year in a children's and youth education center. In 2013 he began a teaching degree in history and English at the University of Osnabrück .

In September 2014 he made his first appearance as a comedian at the Quatsch Comedy Club Talentschmiede. Since April 2017 he has been a sidekick of the comedy show NightWash . Initially at the side of Tahnee Schaffarczyk , since September 2018 together with Simon Stäblein , he is an integral part of the Cologne laundromat. Bensmann also moderates numerous shows in the NightWash Live series , with which he regularly tours all over Germany .

In October 2018 the premiere of Bensmann's first solo program “Comedy. Music. Love. ”Took place in Cologne. He goes on tour with the pianist Jan Niermann, who is also the bassist and keyboardist of the band Hi! Spencer is.
