Sven Bremer (born June 2, 1975 in Oldenburg ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Having played for VfB Oldenburg since 1989 , Sven Bremer joined the club's regional league team from the reserve team in 1995. In the very first season he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with his club, where he played an important role with 28 games and one goal scored. The second division season 1996/97 ended with the direct relegation and Bremer's playing times decreased compared to the previous season - he only played 13 games for Oldenburg.

For the 1997/98 season he moved to FC Gütersloh . In the first year in Westphalia he was used in six games. He was in the Gütersloh squad until 2000, but was unable to play a game in 1998/99 or in the 1999/00 regional league season due to a serious knee injury. In 2000, he finally ended his career as a result of the injury.

After football

Today Bremer runs a personal fitness studio in Bad Zwischenahn and works as a coordination and fitness trainer in the youth performance center of VfB Oldenburg .
