Sven Christians (born January 28, 1967 ) is a former German soccer player.

Sven Christian's parent clubs in the youth sector were the ASG Vorwärts Strausberg and Vorwärts Frankfurt / Oder , and from 1989 he was active at Chemie Velten . After the reunification, the defender and midfielder Christians moved in 1991 via Borussia Neunkirchen to the upper league for Wuppertaler SV , with whom he immediately made it to the 2nd Bundesliga . Christians convinced and moved to the Bundesliga for VfL Bochum next season . Here Christians could never really meet the expectations placed in him. He was a member of the Bochum team, which was relegated from the Bundesliga for the first time. Immediate promotion was achieved in the following season. But his second year in the Bundesliga did not go as planned either and in 1995 Christians switched back to Wuppertaler SV, who are now back in the regional league . After only half a year Christians joined the regional league club SV Babelsberg 03 . In 1998, his path initially led him to Germania Schöneiche and despite success there, for professional reasons, after only one season, he moved to the lowlands of amateur football.
